Trashigang

Trashigang dzongkhag is located in the eastern Bhutan bordering with the Mongar Dzongkhag in the west and Pemagatshel and Samdrupjongkhar in the south and Trashigang Dzongkhag in the North.

It is located 522 KM away from Thimphu and one of the largest districts in the country. The dzongkhag has 45,025 populations in total.

Trashigang is rich in its biodiversity and well known for its beautiful landscape. There are also many different kinds of mask dances and festivals.

The district produces a large number of agricultural products including dairy products. The district has a huge potential for cultural, food and art & craft tourism.
