Trashiyangtse borders with Trashigang. The district has numerous cultural products and very unique natural products that most other dzongkhag do not possess.
It is the only place in the country that provides habitats for the Ludlow’s butterfly and also the winter retreat of the endangered black necked cranes. The district is also well known for art and craft. The main potential is on handicraft product, biodiversity and culture.
